PRAYER FOR PEACE
Divine Creator of all mankind:
Let peace reign over all.
Let none, in fear of hate, evermore shed blood in Thy presence.
Grant us peace, the blessing above all blessings we owe Thee.
Grant us peace, that we may all live in Thy grace,
and bless Thy holy name. Amen. |
PRAYER FOR LOVE
Divine Creator of all mankind:
Let love fill our hearts.
Let all obstacles melt to bring people together in love.
Grant us love, to know intimacy with another in the bond of lovematism.
Grant us love, so we may feel compassion and connect heart to heart,
and bless the divine love within each person. Amen. |
“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and
find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” ~Rumi
"If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that
we belong to each other."
~Mother Teresa
"The essence of peace is love. Out of love and the willingness to act selflessly, strategies, tactics, and techniques for a peaceful struggle arise naturally. Peace is a process."
~Thich Nhat Hanh
"Peace is not merely a distant goal that we seek, but a means by which we arrive at that goal."
~Martin Luther King Jr.
When LOVE is present, wisdom can be revealed,
creativity can manifest, strength can be powerful,
health can flourish,
wealth can be employed,
and intelligence can be applied.”
"When LOVE is present, holidays can bring
deep meaning, inner peace and
true joy."

When you emulate the Divine Creator’s love, love flows into your life. Love creates harmony between people, between humanity and the natural world.
Shalom is the word for “Peace” in Hebrew. It is also the word for “Hello.” These are simple translations. The root word is actually “WHOLE.” So when you greet someone hello you impart peace with the idea that you make the person feel whole and complete and show you really care, convey interest, ask about their well-being, and focus on them. When you greet someone, a smile can brighten up another person and is an indicator of emotional support and love. When we greet some “hello” we impart peace and God’s blessing on them. It is a privilege to acknowledge another person.
To think that just words can make a person feel better about himself or herself is just awesome! Take advantage of it and greet someone today. Reach out to friends and family and even strangers. No special education or training is needed. Just care in your heart and the willingness to connect.
You may make all the difference in a person’s life with a simple hello or a kind-hearted gesture. Perform an act of loving-kindness today. Bring peace to another person’s heart. Everyday can be celebrated like a holiday. That's my holiday message.
On a global scale, beyond personal holiday messages, Nathan Otto says, "Peace is constructive conflict."
